This is our second model after the aptly named “Beast”. It still utilises ample volume in the nose and tail, essential for paddling in the surf and open ocean and is best suited to paddlers over 80kg in weight.  

Why Have 2 Ski’s For Different Weight Ranges?

All water-craft is designed with an optimal weight in mind.  Thinking that the same ski can cater for an open male paddler, who might weigh anywhere from 80 to over 100kg, to a junior or or female weighing only 60kg is absurd.  All other water-craft such as rowing sculls, kayaks, paddle boards and even surf boards are designed to have an upper and lower limit of paddler.  Most malibu boards such as ones from Dietz are shaped using 10kg weight ranges (i.e. 60-70kg; 80-90kg; etc)
